Sacred Heart is thrilled with the success of our SCRIP program. 50% of the proceeds made from SCRIP sales are returned to the school, and 50% are used by participating families to offset tuition.
What is SCRIP and why should I participate?
SCRIP is fundraising while you shop at places you likely already visit. SCRIP is a gift card or certificate bought through the school SCRIP team at a discount, then sold to you at face value. SCRIP sells many popular gift cards including Casey’s, Fareway, Walmart, Target, Amazon, iTunes and many more. The difference is then split 50/50 with Sacred Heart School for technology initiatives and to offset tuition for participating families.
You could use your SCRIP earnings to help reduce tuition expenses at Sacred Heart School and for Religious Education. If you are a SCRIP user, but do not have children in either program, you can direct your earnings to a specific family or into the general SCRIP fund.
Anyone can buy SCRIP-multiply your SCRIP earning by having your business, friends and relatives (especially grandparents) designate their earnings for your child’s tuition!
SCRIP – More Information
Sacred Heart has been using SCRIP since July 2014. In our first six months $3,000 was raised, with $1,500 going into the school technology fund and $1,500 going to the participating families to offset tuition.
Funds raised through the SCRIP program are dispersed to tuition accounts twice/year.
SCRIP is ordered every two weeks; fulfilled SCRIP orders can be sent home with your child upon request, or can be picked up at the school during SCRIP office hours. SCRIP paperwork, ordering and fulfillment is processed by volunteers on our SCRIP team and not organized by school staff.
